These images were taken with a Canon 55-250m lenses and I mainly focused on the manipulation of ISO and aperture to see the exposure within the image. The clouds against the pale building did cause some issues with exposure but the manipulation of the variables meant I could gain a better understanding of how to alter this correctly. After several test shots, these six images present a variety of architecture from the view of Lincoln University. The variation between them allows me to capture different materials as well as learning the effect of lighting between the focus points of each image.
RESEARCH
Hufton + Crow
These images were taken from three projects of Hufton and Crow’s including ‘520W 28th Street Zaha Hadid Architects New York- USA’ on the first row, ‘Musee Des Beaux De Arts Stanton Williams Nantes- France’ on the second row and ‘KAPSARCĀ Zaha Hadid Architects Riyahd- Saudi Arabia’. Hufton + Crow are a pair of award winning photographers who work together to create photographs paying attention to every detail possible. Either one photographer shoots the images with the other critiques and provides direction or they both shoot at the same time. Their work interested me as I find each image very interesting especially with the variety of shots shown.
